Remorse: Paves Jesus' Lifestyle

Come! Let us follow Jesus with remorse by lifting our weaknesses (invisible cross) and those of our relatives, as without being liberated by Jesus, no one can reach heaven to the Almighty Father, as stated in scripture:

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6, NIV)

Following Jesus’ Lifestyle:

Requires us to give up everything and follow Jesus, meaning surrendering to God (truth) by renouncing all weaknesses (untruth). Jesus found his disciples asleep outside the Garden of Gethsemane, instead of them following Him (truth), as recorded in scripture:

When he rose from prayer and went back to the disciples, he found them asleep, exhausted from sorrow. “Why are you sleeping?” he asked them. “Get up and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. (Luke 22:45-46, NIV)

Don’t Slumber in Spiritual Darkness:

Disciples were found asleep, exhausted from sorrow, meaning they were asleep in sadness of their sins. In the state of sin, human soul can not praise God, their sins led them to slumber in spiritual darkness. Therefore, Jesus came out of the Garden of Gethsemane to fulfil God’s sacred desire revealed to Him. As Jesus prepared to lift humanity’s weaknesses (invisible cross), He saw His disciples asleep, He then wished they lift their invisible cross (invisible sins), instead, and follow Him by surrendering them to Him, and thus wake their souls up to glorify God. In the state of sin, human souls fail to glorify God, yet God wishes human souls be awaken and glorify Him unceasingly, as informed in scripture:

It will be good for those servants whose master finds them ready, even if he comes in the middle of the night or toward daybreak. (Luke 12:38, NIV)

Mary: Exemplifying the Awakened Soul

In fact, Mary’s soul was not Slumbering in Spiritual Darkness, but instead, her soul was constantly awake, glorifying God. Therefore, Gabiel, the Arch angel, was sent to Mary, a human sacred soul filled with humbleness, awaken to enjoy every moment in praising God, as recorded in scripture:

And Mary said: “My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed, (Luke 1:46-48, NIV)

Pave the Way to Heaven through Jesus:

Jesus, the sole owner and the main door at heaven. He wishes humanity, instead of slumbering in spiritual darkness, seek liberation from spiritual darkness to fill their soul with humility, reflecting His character. This is possible only when the humanity adapts to Jesus’ lifestyle, as declared in scripture:

I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. (John10:9, NIV)

Zacchaeus, the Publican: A Transformative Lesson

Despite his short stature, Zacchaeus' spiritual darkness was monumental. He was the massive factory of the cross. But he changed, from spiritual darkness to Jesus' holy lifestyle. Let us learn from him to sacrifice our weaknesses (the burden of sins) through repentance and confession, to live by Jesus' lifestyle through learning to embrace Jesus' humble character. Thus, by learning Zacchaeus' ways, we can increase our height of holiness in God's sight through the fasting of our weaknesses and prayer (true repentance), as stated in scripture:

But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount.” Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” (Luke 19:8-10, NIV)

Jesus is Decided, Humanity’s Pending:

The resurrected Jesus has paved the way for our salvation and is omnipresent among us, just as God is. Those who desire salvation will be saved, while those who wish to be left behind will be.

Don't you want to ascend to heaven?
