Mankind: Born With God's Holiness
The Spirit of Truth, or God's soul, or the Holy Spirit – all refer to the same divine entity. Those who receive the Spirit of Truth receive God Himself, or in other words, receive the Holy Spirit. Receiving the Holy Spirit is synonymous with receiving truth and receiving God.
As we know, "God is love." (1 John 4:8, NIV). Therefore, it's accurate to say that receiving the Holy Spirit is receiving a soul full of love – a soul that is absolutely innocent, selfless, and pure.
Mortality & Immortality: A Divine Contrast
In our previous article, we concluded that the soul takes precedence over the physical body. This is because God first creates the human soul and then places it in the mother's womb to form the body around it.
Furthermore, the soul is immortal, as the Bible says:
Then God said, 'Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness...' " (Genesis 1:26, NIV)
In contrast, the physical body is mortal, as scripture states:
….for dust you are and to dust you will return. (Genesis 3:19)
Human Souls: A Reflection of God's Holy Spirit
This confirms that the Almighty Father, whose soul is full of truth, declares to create humanity in His image and likeness. Consequently, upon creation, humanity will be in His image and likeness.
Upon reflecting on the biblical verse at Genesis 3:19, it is clear that if God had been stingy in filling human souls with truth, the creation of the human soul, as stated in Genesis 1:26, NIV, would have been false. God neither deceives nor can be deceived.
Therefore, we can conclude that to create humanity in His image and likeness, God has filled their souls with truth similar to Him. A human soul of such holiness, where truth can reside.
God, without bias, creates every individual's soul similar to His holiness, allowing truth, or rather, God Himself, to be present within
The Human Body: A Sacred Temple of God
From the above discussion, we can conclude that humanity received the Holy Spirit, or the soul of truth, or God Himself, prior to their creation in their mother's womb. As a result, humanity becomes a mobile temple of God, with the responsibility of maintaining this temple to ensure God's eternal presence within.
Therefore, God desires humanity to love one another as He loves them, creating them in His image and likeness. Moreover, if the body, being a temple of God, commits sin, humanity must undergo true repentance to cleanse the temple of God and restore Him, or the Holy Spirit, or the soul of truth, within.
Humanity: Not Born Empty Handed
Come! Let us, who have been created by God in His image and likeness, continuously uphold truth within, similar to God. Let us adore and worship Him by fulfilling His holy desires.
Remember, He has given us a soul in the image and likeness of His Holy Spirit. We were not born empty-handed, but with a soul full of truth, full of the Holy Spirit.
We must leave this earthly life with our soul, absolute in truth, reflecting the image and likeness of His Holy Spirit, and continue to glorify God eternally.
In Conclusion:
We are not empty-handed, but rather, we are born with a divine gift - a soul that reflects the Holy Spirit. This gift is our birthright, and it imbues our life with purpose, meaning, and significance.
