Legacy of the Three Kings:

Indeed, the three kings of gold, frankincense, and myrrh ushered God's kingdom into their lives and transformed their kingdoms of vice into God's kingdom. Thus, they beautifully exemplified this transformation to humanity.

Lack of Wholehearted Welcome:

The Jewish people welcomed Jesus, the King of Kings, by spreading green branches and clothes, chanting His glorification, as recorded in scripture: “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” (Luke 19:38, NIV)

However, soon after welcoming Jesus and declaring Him their king, they denied accepting Him as their king at the throne of Pontius Pilate, instead declaring Caesar, the king of gold (pride), frankincense (hypocrisy), and myrrh (pretence), their king. We have no king but Caesar,” the chief priests answered. (John 19:15, NIV)

Learning From Three Kings:

To have Jesus as the king of our lives, it is essential to declare Him King, as exemplified by the three kings, and not merely recite words like the Jewish people, who later denied Him and became kings of gold (pride), frankincense (hypocrisy), and myrrh (pretense).
