A Christmas Reflection: Embracing the Gentle Knock

The true essence of Christmas – the birth of God in the form of Jesus – often eludes us. Jesus embodies love, humility, forgiveness, peace, compassion, endurance, and patience. Yet, when He knocked on the doors of humanity to live amongst, the response was, "There is no room." (Luke 2:7) Despite this, Jesus persistently knocks on the door of every individual, saying, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me." (Revelation 3:20, NKJV)

Christmas serves as a poignant reminder to welcome Jesus' transformative qualities into our lives. As we celebrate this joyous season, let's embrace His gentle knock, which echoes in every moment we live, and may our hearts be filled with love, compassion, and peace.
