The Fragmentation of the Church: A Call for Unity

A Sincere Request: Before proceeding, please review my previous articles, listed in order, for context. If you've already read them, please continue.

The Selfless Ministry of John the Baptist:

John the Baptist's thoughts resonated perfectly with God's. By the Jordan River, a symbol of the church his sacred ministry, he administered the baptism of repentance through water, the ‘Baptism of water’ and ‘Baptism of Repentance’, guiding a multitude from unrighteousness to righteousness within the boundaries of his church. He tirelessly strived for absolute truth, reflecting God's voice, thoughts, and actions.

John's mission was to elevate others, as he desired for himself: to be greatest among humanity, free from unrighteousness, and smallest among saints in heaven, as recorded in Scripture: "Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he." (Luke 7:28, NIV)

Thus, John's voice, thoughts, and actions mirrored God's. Those he transformed from unrighteousness to righteousness, nourished within his church to enduring righteousness, continually glorify God in heaven. Inspired by God's voice in the wilderness, John preached repentance, aligning with Jesus' subsequent message: From that time on Jesus began to preach, 'Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.' (Matthew 4:17, NIV)

John's absolute selfless ministry paved the way for others to follow, reflecting God's truth and eternal life.

The Efficacy of Modern Church Practices:

Heaven is inaccessible without the righteous way. Therefore, those administering and receiving the 'Baptism of Water' must sincerely ask themselves:

- Do my thoughts align with God's when baptizing others?
- Do my thoughts mirror John the Baptist's?
- Does the baptism ritual in my church resemble John's?
- If deviated, how do my thoughts reflect God's and John's?

If my thoughts don't align with God's and John's, what benefits do I gain from administering 'Baptism of Water' within my physical church? Who benefits, and to what extent?

John the Baptist, in his church by the Jordan River, guaranteed elevation from unrighteousness to enduring righteousness. Does our physical church's boundary guarantee relief from unrighteousness? Is heaven guaranteed?

Mirroring John's Ministry: A Path to True Unity

When we proclaim "my church, your church, their church", we immediately, inadvertently and advertently, publicize the fragmentation of churches and accuse each other. Under these circumstances, how can administrators of the "Baptism of Water" claim their thoughts reflect God's and John's?

Haven't we fragmented from John's church, symbolized by the Jordan River, which embodies Jesus' church, founded on Peter, the rock, with Jesus as the cornerstone? What benefits do these fragmented churches provide, perpetually dividing further? Who benefits, and to what extent?

Isn't church fragmentation inherently unrighteous? If our rituals deviate from John the Baptist's originality, isn't that unrighteous too? John's thoughts and actions mirrored God's. Any deviation in our church rituals is a product of our unrighteousness, as Scripture says: "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord. (Isaiah 55:8, NIV)

The Unrighteousness of Church Division:

If our thoughts mirror God's, what causes church fragmentation? Can worldly parents endorse division among their children? Perhaps worldly parents prioritize worldly desires, but our God, eternal love, never condones division.

Disintegrating from God's church, founded on Peter, the rock, is absolute unrighteousness. Righteousness is religion; unrighteousness cannot be. What benefits come from such fragmentation? Who benefits, and to what extent?

Those consistently united with God, avoiding unrighteousness, belong to the one true church, with Jesus as its cornerstone. Even being within physical church boundaries, as Scripture states: 'Those who remain in Zion, who remain in Jerusalem, will be called holy, all who are recorded among the living in Jerusalem.' (Isaiah 4:3, NIV)

John the Baptist's Example: Elevating Humanity:

It's not necessary to attract people with church decorations, but rather to instil in them the significance of transitioning from unrighteousness to a consistent righteous path, enabling them to enter heaven for eternal life, as exemplified by John the Baptist.

There's no need to bind people with unnecessary church regulations, creating unnecessary doubts about religious conversion, as God has granted humanity freedom and understanding.

We must recognize that the Baptism of Repentance by water (Baptism of Water and Baptism of Repentance) isn't about converting religion, but a sacred process uniting humanity with God by elevating them from unrighteousness to consistent righteousness.

God's Desire for Unity:

If we truly desire eternal life, we will understand John's baptism of repentance by water. Otherwise, we will be preoccupied with unnecessary church rituals and regulations, a result of fragmenting John the Baptist's church at the Jordan River.

God strives to unite us all. Do we comprehend this? Jesus' prayer, recorded in Scripture, reminds us: 'I pray not only for these, but also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us, so the world may believe you sent me.' (John 17:20-21, NIV)
