The various parts of John the Baptist's Baptism

A Sincere Request: Before proceeding, please review my previous articles, listed in order, for context. If you've already read them, please continue.

Human Soul are Created Before Body:

Human creation consists of both a mortal body and an immortal soul. The soul exists before and after the body; and God created the human soul in His own image and holy likeness, as declared in the beginning of creation, and confirmed in Scripture: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5, NIV)

Baptism and Human Soul:

Baptism and Human Soul:

As soon as the human soul, created in God's image and holy likeness, is placed in the mother's womb for the formation of mortal body parts, it becomes tainted by ancestral sins. These ancestral sins can only be cleansed through the 'Baptism of Water'. Therefore, it is essential for humanity to undergo the 'Baptism of Water' at any stage of life, from conception to old age. The Baptism confirms the purification of the human soul from ancestral sins, as Scripture attests: "Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me." (Psalm 51:5, NIV)

Eligibility for Baptism:

Therefore, purifying the soul from ancestral sins is crucial, ideally during conception or infancy, as no one knows the time of death. It is better to die holy than with impurity. Are miscarriages not a reality?

Jesus Baptised in His Youth:

Jesus, with a divine purpose, chose to be baptized by John the Baptist's 'Baptism of Water' in His youth. This exemplified the significance of Baptism for humanity and revealed the divine mystery behind it.

However, this does not mean that Baptism should only occur in youth. Rather, it emphasizes the purification of the immortal soul, which, though created pure, becomes tainted by ancestral sins upon conception in the mother's womb.

Baptism and Use of Water:

Another crucial point is that the 'Baptism of Water' is for the purification of the soul, not the body. In this sacrament, pouring water on the body, wetting it, or submerging it symbolizes the desire to purify the soul from ancestral sins and pledge to protect future generations from the severity of those sins and personal sins caused by worldly desires. Thus, Baptism serves as a reminder to avoid spiritual death due to sin's severity, as Scripture warns: "Unless you repent, you too will all perish." (Luke 13:5, NIV)

A Call to Action:

Despite taking the vow of Baptism by Water, our foot slips onto the winding and crooked path of falsehood, defiling our souls with sin's impurities and severing our connection with God. For truth and falsehood, purity and impurity, cannot coexist. To stay on the path of righteousness, after the ‘Baptism of Water’, it is essential to frequently receive the sacrament of repentance and confession, the ‘Baptism of Repentance’. Otherwise, we lose our relationship with Jesus Christ, as Scripture says: 'Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.' (John 13:8, NIV)"

Through Baptism by Water, souls are cleansed from ancestral sins, adopting them as God's children, and granting a new life. However, Satan tries to reclaim the baptized as his own, luring them into worldly desires and falsehood, leading them into sin. The holiness acquired through Baptism by Water must be sustained through frequent repentance and confession, the ‘Baptism of Repentance’. As written in the scripture: Jesus' desire to wash feet compels people to seek John the Baptist for Baptism of Repentance, as Scripture says: 'Produce fruit in keeping with repentance...' (Matthew 3:8-10, NIV).

A Valid Question:

Therefore, all who administer and receive Baptism by Water must ask themselves: Are we maintaining the purity and holiness received at Baptism through frequent sacrament of repentance and confession, the Baptism of Repentance? Are we part of God? Are we His relatives, as Scripture reminds: 'Unless I wash you, you have no part with me' (John 13:8, NIV)?
