A Sincere Request:
Assuming you have read my previous articles on the "Eight Aspects of the Sacrament of Baptism," which are crucial for humanity, please review them before proceeding.
Unparallel Obedience of John the Baptist:
John the Baptist, the voice of the invisible God in the wilderness, administered the "Baptism of Repentance" by water at the Jordan River. When Jesus, the manifestation of the same invisible God, approached him, John initially hesitated. However, Jesus said, "Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfil all righteousness" (Matthew 3:15). John then consented to baptize Jesus. This compelled John to obey Him to administer the 'Baptism of Water' to Jesus.
Ninth Aspect of Baptism:
John the Baptist, the greatest among humanity, obeyed the voice of the invisible God in the wilderness and the voice of Jesus, God's visible manifestation. Therefore, humanity, whether administering or receiving the 'Baptism of Water,' must humble themselves and abide by God's words, as stated in Scripture: 'My mother and brothers are those who hear God's word and put it into practice.' (Luke 8:21)
Unparallel Jesus’ Obedience:
Jesus loved His relatives, His mother and brothers, dearly. To be considered a relative of Jesus, one must abide by His words, just as His virgin mother Mary did. Jesus also spoke about His strong relationship with the Almighty Father, rooted in His obedience to the Father's commands, as mentioned in Scripture: 'If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.' (John 15:10)
Tenth Aspect of Baptism:
Both those who administer and receive the 'Baptism of Water' must ask themselves: are we firmly rooted in God after being baptized? Obedience is the solution that both the administrator (John the Baptist) and recipient (Jesus Christ) apply in their lives, as mentioned in Scripture: 'If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.' (John 15:10)
As we decrease in disobedience, God's glory will increase reciprocally, as stated in Scripture: 'He must increase, but I must decrease.' (John 3:30)
Therefore, the tenth essential aspect of baptism is that the recipients of the 'Baptism of Water' make a commitment to obey God's commandments."
